What does it mean VHF?
VHF is the acronym for Very High Frequency and indicates the frequency used for the majority of maritime communications.
The VHF antennas receive on the marine band going from 156.025 MHz to 162.025 MHz which consist of channels in according to what provided by International Authorities. In order to optimize the performance of a VHF antenna, its size must be proportional to the wavelength on which it is going to operate.
